Madge became interested in fabric art after a visit to Indonesia which gave her the opportunity to see traditional batik methods in action. This developed into a interest in working with silk, using a variety of techniques including painting, stenciling and batik.
The main theme is silk scarfs, using lightweight silk and simple designs. Colours and designs can be produced to your specification. Simply send details of the colour/pattern required. A small sample of the finished silk will be sent for your approval.
