CHECK LIST This is a short check list of the things that you must prepare for before committing yourselves to the Internet site. 1. If required, check that the items you are offering for sale fulfill all trading standards requirements. Those of you who may have been visited by local Trading Standards officials or visited them will know how helpful they can be. Trading Standards can be found at your local Council Offices. 2. If required, check with your Post Office about the packaging for your product, it must arrive at its destination in one piece. 3. Check the cost of posting to various world wide destinations. It may work out that some traditional items that you sell may not be cost effective to send. Only include on your site those that are worthwhile. You need to have a UK, Europe and a rest of the World price. Although it is recommended that you use the Post Office for most items, for larger bulky items always check other couriers for best service and price.
